 Post subject: no upshift blues

i have a 1999 ply voyager v6 auto with 130k.The trans wont shift into the upper or overdrive, it does have a service engine light on.I just bought this van so i don't have a history on it.The fluid is full and is pink like it is supposed to be.I'm thinking sensor problem, what say you.

Most major auto supply stores (Autozone, Murrays, etc.)will read the code for free.

Get the code read and report the code back here. It will be an Alhpa-numeric code. Like PO234. Don't let the parts store give you a generic answer, "it's the PCV valve", ask for the exact code.

I had the codes read from my 1999 ply voyager and they were po715 inop turbine speed malfunction.
po700 twice for shift malfunction.
po731 for shift malfunction.
any ideas would be helpful thanks all.

If it shifts from first to second and then does not shift, replace the input and output speed sensors on the front of the transaxle.
